Why did we choose Mach 9 (quick answer, Mach 1-8 were taken!
Mach 9 was actually created out of the desire to imply speed in our company name, and clients usually ask, Why Mach 9? The Reader's Digest version is that Mach 1-8 were taken. While that usually gets a small chuckle, it's part of the bigger story behind our name. In the business world today, speed and efficiency are vital for survival, let alone success. We wanted something that says, "bring your business up to speed". We tried different versions of Mach (i.e., Mach 2, Mach 5), and learned quickly that Mach 1 through 8 were already taken. So we decided on Mach 9 and believe Mach 9 really does say sharp, fast and sleek. And in case you're wondering, How fast is Mach 9? Well, it's 3062.62 m/s.
